The company's Design Bureau specializes in dynamically supported
vessels and ships designing of aluminum alloy and glass-reinforced
plastic and development of glass-reinforced plastic complex
constructions.
During the short period of its existence, the
DB designers have already worked out a number of high-speed
boats with graphical computer technologies application using
the scientific and technical resources of Russia and the Ukraine.
Technological preproduction
There are the following departments in the
company that can provide the full cycle execution of technological
preproduction for new vessels designing as well as for repair
and modernization of operating vessels:
loftsman-patterned section with the appliance of modern
methods of loftsman preproduction based on modeling with
the help of automated systems that help exclude the necessity
of natural mock-up laying-out and issue the control programs
in the form of cutting charts, sketches for the hull details
processing on the numerical program control (NPC) equipment;
technical department consisting of specialized subdivision
of experts in hull-processing, assembling and welding, hull-making,
machine-building, fitting-out, pipe-processing and mechanical
assembling works and vessels testing and delivering, provides
all the necessary designing and technological documentation,
necessary technological equipment, special tools, means
of mechanization and non-standard equipment designing.
the preproduction workshop, consisting of storage, mechanoprocessing,
thermal, assembling and welding, woodworking and glass-fiber-reinforced
plastic section provides all technical equipment production
works fulfillment, special tooling, means of mechanization
and non-standard equipment.
Hull-manufacturing
provides the whole cycle of components production of aluminum-magnesium, titanic alloys and stainless steels.
The sheet material laying-out is performed
on the NPC equipment, on guillotines, circular saws and crank
shears.
The pressed panels laying-out is carried out
by the plasma arc cutting NPC machines.
The profile rolled products laying-out is performed
with the help of rocking-type saw.
The details bending is carried out on bending
rollers, flanging machines and hydraulic presses.
Manufacture of double curvature components
is performed on the plate-bending machine of the PBM type
and on tapping hammers.
Shipbuilding production
The production is of a high technical level. Its equipment and the highly qualified specialists team allows to fulfill erecting-welding works in construction production of steels, aluminum and titanium alloys. The production is equipped with the multi-purpose welding current sources, special automatic welding workbenches, and automatic resistance welding machines. The welding specialists as well as manufacturing methods of welding are certified according to the Maritime Register of Shipping requirements. The welding materials preparation is fulfilled on the specialized area, method of electrochemical welding wire purifying is used.
The company has a welding laboratory and
central factory laboratory (CFL), certified according to the
Register requirements which allows to conduct the certification
of the working welders independently and do all kinds of testing
and control.
Hull building
ensures the fulfillment of the shipbuilding works on the production lines, starting from hull laying and assembling in building berths, installation of the foundations, reinforcements, mechanical saturation of hull, testing on impermeability and air-tightness, fulfillment of painting-insulating, mechanical-assembly, fitting-out, electric wiring and finishing works ending in transportation and vessels launching.
All the production lines positions are equipped
with temporary energy supply systems, ventilation, necessary
fire-fighting systems, low-voltage illumination, powered and
non-powered trolleys for ships transportation through the
lines along the production lines positions and to the construction
harbor.
Machine-building
ensures the fulfillment of the following works:
mechanoprocessing works:
lathing works with the diameter up to 1000mm, with the
length up to 12000mm, the accuracy highest class is second;
boring-lathing works with the diameter up to the 3200mm;
turning-revolver works;
milling works on the machines with the table length up
to 6000mm and width up to 2400mm, the highest accuracy class
is third;
threads knurling;
orifices traction with the diameter up to 100mm, grooves,
key slots, etc.;
mortising, gear-shaping, gear-milling works, with the
diameter up to 800mm, the cog-wheels accuracy degree is
8;
openings drilling and chiseling on drilling and chiseling
machines with the spindle diameter up to 250mm;
benchwork, scraping, grinding, pressing in, etc. including
modules and machine building, assembling and testing;
round and flat thread-grinding;
openings honing with the diameter up to 200mm, with the
length up to 500mm;
Welding works - argon-arc, electric arc and oxy-acetylene
welding of the articles of steels, aluminium-magnesium and
titanium alloys;
Casting, black-lead, forming and thermal works;
Galvanic works - zinc-plating, cadmium-plating, chromium-plating,
copper plating; details polishing and grinding;
paint coating.
Pipe factory and mechanical assemblage
The pipe factory provides the full pipe production cycle of all
materials brands (all kinds of alloys including steels, aluminium-magnesium
and titanium alloys).
Mechanical assemblage provides optical, laser
and common (by chord) puncture and shafting supports alignment;
main and auxiliary engines alignment and mounting; all systems
assembling and testing; performance check of all hydraulics
systems, main hydraulic units and equipment from technological
test benches up to vessels launching.
Fitting-out
provides the full cycle of painting, insulating, carpenter, tailoring
and finishing works; production and assembling of vessels
equipment; production of the necessary nomenclature of the
mechanical rubber articles and articles of plastic.
Wiring work is performed by a specialized factory
a workshop of which is situated on the company's territory.
Launching, testing and commissioning of vessels
The vessels launching is performed by ship elevator with a lifting
capacity of 40 ton-force or on transversal slips provided
that their mass is not over 600 ton.
Delivery production provides the full-cycle
testing (harbor, sea and acceptance trials) of all vessels
built by the company, final adjustment and main systems,
devices, equipment and vessels on the whole performance characteristics
determination.
The
harbor wall is equipped with the necessary systems (compressed
air, water supply, fire-fighting, refueling, illumination).
Water area of the company and the harbor
walls make it possible to fulfill launching, testing and vessels
mooring with the length up to 90m and with the draught up
to 5m.
